- Q - Bearings: installation, removal, and failure analysis, including lubrication & trouble-shooting
- R - Mechanical seals, packing, gaskets, O-rings: inspection, installation repair/replacement maintenance and trouble shooting
- S - Gearboxes: basic operation, installation, tear-down inspection, repair, maintenance and trouble-shooting
- T - Power transmission: (linear or acme drives, belt drives, chains, pulleys, sprockets): basic operation, installation, tear-down inspection, repair
- U - Electrical/energetic systems SAFETY: de-power, regulatory & maintenance requirements, including diagnostic & trouble-shooting procedures
