• "C" Classification - Spray die per supervisors instruction with die lubricate
• "C" Classification - Operates control panel on die cast machine
• "C" Classification - Ladle aluminum from holding furnace using back ladle technique
• "C" Classification - Pour aluminum into shot sleeve
• "C" Classification - Remove casting from machine
• "C" Classification - Check casting for defect, broke core, etc.and performs quality checks as required by Control Plan
• "C" Classification - Document reading of shot monitor per Control Plan
• "C" Classification - Place casting on conveyor
• "C" Classification - Recognize stuck casting and report to set up personnel
• "C" Classification - Meet minimum production requirements
• "C" Classification - Perform Housekeeping duties as instructed
• "C" Classification - Able to operate trimpress as needed
• "B" Classification - Successfully complete all "C" duties
• "B" Classification - Starts machine without supervision
• "B" Classification - Sprays die with die lubricate without supervision
• "B" Classification - Able to recognize quality problems and report to foreman
• "B" Classification - Assists in removal of stuck casting and performs quality checks as required by Control Plan
• "B" Classification - Able to make minor adjustments to spray, water, etc.
• "B" Classification - Coats ladle daily with ladle coat
• "B" Classification - Exceeds minimum production standards
• "B" Classification - Performs housekeeping duties without supervision
• "B" Classification - Assists in light duty set-ups as needed
• "B" Classification - Assists in other areas as needed
• "A" Classification - Successfully perform all functions of class "C" and "B" operators in addition to:
• "A" Classification - Able to remove stuck castings using brass chisel without supervision
• "A" Classification - Assists in set-up of dies, auto-sprayer, auto-ladler
• "A" Classification - Recognizes most die cast machine problems, loss of pressure, motor failure, etc. and reports to supervisor, assists in repair.
• "A" Classification - Assists in new operator training
• "A" Classification - Recognizes quality problems and assists in correcting variables in the process in accordance with set-up specifications to produce parts in accordance with the quality standards.
• "A" Classification - Assists in set-up and maintenance of machines
