    • Models healthy eating habits and tooth brushing
    • Follows cleaning, sanitation and disinfectant procedures to promote healthy habits within the classroom environment
    • Assists in promoting protective factors to prevent child abuse and neglect; identifies and refers families to Department of Health and Human Services' Child Protective Services
    • Assists with completion, accuracy and appropriate follow-up of Health & Safety Checklists
    • Assists with required emergency procedures

    • Demonstrates and recognizes parents as children's first and most important teachers
