- *Insert intravenous (IV) catheters and provide IV maintenance- Students are not permitted to start IVs on anyone under 16 years old at any time
- *Prepare primary IV fluids and tubing
- *Administer peripheral intravenous push medications
- *Administer peripheral IVPB medication
- *Convert the primary line into a saline lock
- *Discontinue IV therapy
- *Insert and remove urinary catheters: straight and/or indwelling
