    • *Insert intravenous (IV) catheters and provide IV maintenance- Students are not permitted to start IVs on anyone under 16 years old at any time
    • *Prepare primary IV fluids and tubing
    • *Administer peripheral intravenous push medications
    • *Administer peripheral IVPB medication
    • *Convert the primary line into a saline lock
    • *Discontinue IV therapy
    • *Insert and remove urinary catheters: straight and/or indwelling

    • OB: Apply and monitor external fetal heart tone (FHT) and uterine contraction monitors (TOCO)
