Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards and debris
Read and understand blueprints, measuring and basic math skills
Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications
Operate hand tools and power tools: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment
Cut materials to specified sizes for installation using power tools
Erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level and safely climb ladders and work at heights
Transport materials, tools or machines to installation sites, manually or using conveyance equipment
Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed
Apply caulking compounds by hand or caulking guns to protect against entry of water or air
Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material
