    • Assisting in getting materials from shop stock, loading truck and equipment to; on the job. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
    • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

    • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and meggers, to ensure compatibility and safety of electrical system
    • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects
    • Work from ladders, scaffolds, and mechanized equipment to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
    • Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets assisting in preparing list of materials used, including names, number of pieces or number of feet, etc. for office records
    • Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment
    • Loading unused materials, tools from job site and cleaning up job areas. Organize and restock the shop with said materials, service tools and/or notify office something needs replacement
    • Assisting electricians in installation and completion of work in accordance with the rules and regulations of the National Fire Protection Association and special local regulations, proper sizes of wires, service, conduits, etc.
