    • Accurately evaluates vehicle condition

    • Begins diagnosis by listening to the operator describe the problem
    • Operates and inspects machines to diagnose defects
    • Tests mechanical equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications
    • Reads and understands operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
    • Estimates equipment downtime needed for repairs
    • Overhauls and tests major components such as engines, hydraulic and electrical systems
    • Identifies malfunctions; inspects, repairs, and replaces defective worn parts

    • Maintains and repairs air conditioner
    • Maintains and repairs cab components
    • Maintains and repairs dump body
  • Brake Systems
    • Maintains and repairs air brake system
